Gunnersbury Park
Gunnersbury Park is near the Osborne Hotel (0.6 miles) and it has been designated
Grade II on the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic
Interest so it is worth a vist during your stay at the Osborne Hotel. Gunnersbury
Park was opened to the public on 21 May 1926 and is now jointly owned and run by
Hounslow and Ealing councils.
Recognised by many as one of the most important parks in the country, Gunnersbury
Park is around 186 acres of Grade II listed landscape of exceptional mature trees,
open grass spaces and historic buildings.
There are two mansions at Gunnersbury Park, a round pond, cafe which is open all
year, a mid-18th century Temple and Italian garden, a large children's play area
and an 18 hole pitch and putt golf course open in the summer months. To the south
of the park is the Potomac Lake with its woodland walks, bluebells in the spring
and a hidden Gothic style boat house, perfectly for a walk whatever the season.
The car park is accessed from Popes Lane with a bowling green nearby and a huge
open field and pitches for football, cricket and rugby.
Gunnersbury Park Museum

woodlands, lakes and sports grounds, Gunnersbury Park Museum displays the history
